Comforting and familiar, this scent feels like home during the holidays — sweet, spiced, and full of cheer. Cinnamon, brown sugar, a splash of coffee—whatever it was, it smelled like home. “Warm Welcome” is a tribute to the holiday kitchen: where butter melts, laughter rises, and someone always insists you stay for dessert.
Warm cinnamon greets you first, followed by layers of coffee, caramel, brown sugar, and golden butterscotch. A smooth base of chocolate and vanilla lingers like a decadent dessert.
Candle Making Process
Candle Making Process
What goes into our candles matters as much as how they smell
Wax
At Southern Lady Scents, we use 100% soy wax in every candle we pour — clean, slow-burning, and beautifully fragrant. Soy wax not only gives a longer, more even burn, but it’s also a renewable, plant-based resource that supports a healthier home and environment. Each candle is clearly labeled so you always know exactly what you’re bringing into your space — because honesty is part of our heritage.
Fragrance Oils
Every scent in our collection is thoughtfully crafted using premium fragrance oils that capture the spirit of home and tradition. While essential oils can add a lovely note, the rich and lasting fragrances in our candles come from specially formulated blends designed to bond perfectly with soy wax — so every burn fills your home with warmth and memory.
Wicks
Our wicks are chosen to match each candle’s unique blend of fragrance and wax for the best burn possible. We use only cotton or paper-core wicks — never lead or zinc — ensuring a clean, consistent flame every time you light your candle.

Burn Time
Our 8oz candle burns for approximately 40 hours, while the 16oz size lasts around 80 hours.
Wick Care
After each burn, trim the wick to about ¼ inch before lighting again. Cotton wicks may develop a small black tip that can “pop” when relit — trimming helps prevent this and ensures a cleaner, longer burn.
